April – Nebraska flooding leaves many families homeless

The Stork family is truly Nebraska Strong. This family lost their home of 65 years and all of its contents in the recent flooding. It was “red tagged” and they are unable to rebuild their 100+ year old home in Winslow, NE. Mr. and Mrs. Stork are in their mid-80s and raising their 14 year old grandson. They are thankful for the opportunity to live, at least temporarily, in an affordable tax credit property close to their adult sons in Seward, while they look at long term options available.
