Backpack Program and New Community Garden at Eagle Flats in Elk City, OK

Thank you to the Horizon Housing Foundation for supplying much-needed school supplies and backpacks to our young residents at Eagle Flats (Elk City, OK) and Magnolia Ridge (Stillwater, OK). Each child received an age/grade level appropriate backpack filled with age/grade level appropriate school supplies.

Residents at the Eagle Flats Apartment community in Elk City, OK took part in building a community garden. It was a hot day, but that didn’t stop residents from having fun creating their own garden, which they can use to grow fresh produce. The newly built garden at Eagle Flats in Elk City, OK is already taking shape. Eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, and winter squash are beginning to grow, offering residents fresh produce.
