Brenda Brand has over twenty-five years of experience in the affordable housing industry. She works closely with government agencies, communities, lenders, equity providers, including providing due diligence, underwriting and financial analysis. Prior to joining Excel Development Group Brenda served as the Vice President of Development at RAGA Properties; she served as Senior Development Manager for Gardner Capital over the Central Region for two years; for twenty-two years as a financial analyst/developer for a southwest Missouri developer. Prior to her affordable housing/development career, she worked in public accounting. Brenda has an accounting degree from Missouri Southern State University. Her favorite food is Italian food which she and her daughter like to cook. Brenda is married to husband, Phillip, and has three adult children, twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren with another on the way. She also has 1 dog and 3 cats.
