Each home includes a kitchen, dining area, living room, bedrooms with ample closets, laundry area with washer and dryer, walk-in shower with safety bars and retractable seat. Amenities include all appliances, mini-blinds, attached garage and a beautiful community garden for the residents to enjoy.

Overall development costs totaled approximately $2.85 Million. The funding sources for this project included Low Income Housing Tax Credits, 1602 Exchange Funds, HOME Funds from the Department of Economic Development, FHLBank-AHP Funds, contributions from the city of Minden, and long-term permanent financing. The interim and permanent loans were provided by Horizon Bank.

Construction was completed in June 2011. Minden West Estates is currently in lease up.
